Job Description:
At Clean Harbors, we are committed to maintaining safety and

specialized services across North America. We are currently seeking
a dedicated Vac Sales and Service Driver to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be pivotal in managing and executing
hazardous waste disposal and emergency spill responses, utilizing
state-of-the-art vacuum trucks. This position not only requires
driving skills but also a keen understanding of sales and customer
service to effectively communicate our service value and maintain
client relationships. Operate vacuum trucks and other specialty
vehicles for hazardous waste collection and disposal. Manage
on-site customer interactions with professionalism, offering
detailed explanations of services and setting realistic
expectations. Adhere to all safety protocols during waste
collection and transportation, ensuring compliance with federal,
state, and local regulations. Document service and driving logs
accurately, maintaining comprehensive records of operations.
Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to
sales growth by building strong customer relationships. Attend
training sessions and participate in safety meetings to
continuously improve knowledge and skills. Assist in response
strategies during environmental emergencies and contribute to
effective solutions. Proficiency in operating vacuum and heavy-duty
trucks. Strong understanding of hazardous material handling and
disposal regulations. Excellent communication and customer service
skills. Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
Strong navigation skills and familiarity with digital logging and
routing systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
with Hazmat Endorsement. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and
Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification (preferred).
