Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Lead Medical
Technologist I to support our client’s hospital facility in Tulsa,
OK 74136. This role is responsible for performing high-complexity
laboratory testing while supporting supervisory and operational
duties within the laboratory department. Job Summary The Lead
Medical Technologist ensures accurate testing, timely specimen
processing, and compliance with laboratory standards while
assisting in maintaining efficient workflow and quality patient
care. Key Responsibilities Laboratory Testing & Specimen Processing
Receive, prioritize, and process laboratory specimens according to
established turnaround time standards. Verify specimen
identification, labeling, and acceptability for analysis. Identify
discrepancies, resolve issues, and document findings for quality
assurance. Perform testing procedures according to established
protocols and laboratory standards. Recognize abnormal or
inconsistent results and repeat testing as necessary. Blood Bank &
Transfusion Services (when applicable) Perform patient and
component testing according to transfusion service procedures.
Maintain adequate blood component inventory and ensure effective
utilization. Document special component requirements in the
transfusion service information system (TSIS). Review and verify
recipient and donor information at the time of blood component
issue. Quality & Operational Support Maintain organized workflow
and ensure efficient laboratory operations during high-volume
testing. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory
environment while following all safety protocols. Utilize
laboratory information systems to accurately record test results
and documentation. Assist team members and provide support during
peak workloads or complex testing situations. Required
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology
or related Biological/Chemical Science from an accredited college
or university. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience performing
high-complexity laboratory testing . Certification: National
certification as a laboratory scientist ( ASCP or AMT ). Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency for laboratory systems and data entry.
Ability to work independently and maintain efficiency in a
fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Experience in Flow
Cytometry, Hematology, or Oncology Differentials . Additional
Information: Location: Tulsa, OK 74136 Job Type: Direct Hire
(Full-time) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(occasional late Fridays, no weekends or holidays) Pay Range: $25 –
