Southwest Electric Co., a trusted electrical services provider for over 75 years, is hiring a Field Service Technician I. This role involves installing, aligning, and maintaining rotating equipment and electric motors at customer sites with supervision.
Field Service Technician I Summary:Candidate must possess a basic understanding of electric motor (AC and DC) operation and the associated controls. Technician will perform installation, alignment, and balancing of rotating equipment in a site-specific field location with supervision.



Requirements:Field Service Technician I

• Perform preventive and predictable maintenance activities on all company equipment.
• Basic proficiency performing installation, alignment and balancing of rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring and schematic diagrams and connections.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
• Must be able to pass various drug screens required by customers and DOT.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) What We Offer
