Job Description:
Choctaw Global seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer
Manager to lead our department within the Public Administration and
Government sector. This role involves overseeing and improving
manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency
while adhering to government regulations and standards. The ideal
candidate will bridge the gap between engineering and maintenance
by implementing innovative solutions that align with our mission of
economic development and community enhancement. Lead and manage the
engineering team responsible for designing, implementing, and
refining manufacturing processes. Collaborate with other
departments to integrate logistics and optimize production
schedules and product quality. Ensure compliance with all
government regulations relating to the manufacturing industry.
Develop strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure
that equipment and processes meet the necessary safety and quality
standards. Manage projects from conception through implementation,
including budgeting and timeline management. Oversee the
maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of
manufacturing equipment. Provide technical leadership and training
to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous
learning. Strong leadership and team management skills Expert
knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
Ability to design and optimize workflow and resource allocation
Proficient in project management software and tools Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving
abilities and attention to detail Knowledge of government contract
management and associated regulations Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project
Management Professional) certification preferred Certified in Lean
Manufacturing or Six Sigma Professional Engineer (PE) license is
advantageous
