Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 4/14/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73112! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of OR experience License: Current and valid Driver's License or State issued ID required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Preferred: NRP, EKG/Dysrhythmia competency Must-Have: - 2 years of neuro, ortho, robotics & liver transplant experience Description: Current and valid Driver's License or State issued ID required. Utility bill in the Traveler's name with a matching address within the last three months of the projected start date is required. Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility. No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted. On call is required one night per week from 7 PM to 7 AM. Availability for at least one Friday call shift is necessary. On call for holidays is required, with shifts either from 11 AM to 11 PM or 11 PM to 11 AM. Competency in cardiac monitoring is essential, as scoring requirements for EKG/Dysrhythmia competency will be assigned during the compliance process if offered. Travelers must comply with a floating requirement within scope to meet facility needs. Local candidates will not be considered. RTO restrictions apply: only 5 days or less will be accepted. Daily census includes a range of patient ages from neonates to geriatrics. A minimum of 1 year of separation from previous employment with the organization is required for eligibility. Two supervisory references are necessary for submission. Floating to other areas is expected, including other facilities up to 75 miles. No license hits will be accepted. Travel pairs and block scheduling requests are not permitted. Candidates must have experience with a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties. Comprehensive knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and patient management is essential. Understanding of robotic surgery techniques and specialized equipment is preferred. Participation in emergency response and rapid response teams may be necessary. Candidates should be adept in both clinical and non-clinical procedures as applicable. This position also involves educating patients and their families regarding postoperative care and potential risks.
