Details - Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting - Level I trauma environment with critically ill pediatric cardiac patients - Night shift schedule, working 12-hour shifts, three days per week - Assignment length is 13 weeks Requirements - Active OK or multistate compact RN license in hand - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association - Minimum of one year of CVICU experience in a Level I trauma care setting - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred - Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills necessary - Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Additional Information - Responsible for managing an assigned group of pediatric CVICU patients - Duties include monitoring physiologic data, assisting physicians with procedures, and administering medications and infusions - Engages with patient families regarding care plans and discharge processes - Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff as needed - Compliance with hospital's dress code and vaccination policies is required American Traveler Job ID P-674077.
