Job Description:
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med
Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN -
Med Surg Job Details: • Work on medical/surgical unit caring for
patients pre and post-surgical services • Patient ratios are 5:1
for surgical patients and 3:1 for step-down area • Provide nursing
care for patients with health problems ranging from simple to
complex • Care for patients post-operatively with new drains,
wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT • Must have acute care
surgical floor experience with step-down/PCU experience required •
ENT and/or transplant experience preferred • OR candidates will not
be accepted for this position • Monitor physiological data and
intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and
manage IV infusions and blood products • Document patient responses
to nursing interventions and medical treatments • Assist physicians
with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Interact with
patients and families regarding care plans and discharge
instructions • Delegate tasks to support staff and make referrals
for patient care needs • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program
required • Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of
Nursing or multistate compact license • Current Basic Life Support
certification from American Heart Association required • Strong
communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse
