Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a travel Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist with 1 year of experience for an evening shift contract at a full-service tertiary hospital in Ardmore, OK. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Ultrasound department at a full-service tertiary hospital with 190 licensed beds in Ardmore, OK - Medical patient population - Evening shift, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, 5x8 schedule with opportunity to negotiate different worked days or hours - Call required - EMR: Epic - 13-week contract - Black scrubs required - Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment - Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced bill rate - Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required - Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of a scheduled renewal is provided /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum 1 year of recent Ultrasound / Sonography experience - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent registered ultrasound certification through an approved credentialing body - BLS required prior to start - License required if applicable - Must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number (Canadian SINs are not accepted) - No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-675710.
