Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our
team in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In this role, the nurse will provide
careful monitoring and specialized care to patients
post-anesthesia, ensuring a safe and smooth recovery from surgeries
and procedures. Our focus at Gifted Healthcare is on placing
compassionate and highly skilled nurses in environments where they
can excel and make significant impacts on patient outcomes. Monitor
post-operative patients' vital signs and levels of consciousness to
detect potential complications. Assess patients for pain and
provide appropriate pain management interventions. Organize,
administer, and record prescribed medications. Communicate
effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical
professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Educate patients
and their families on post-procedure home care needs. Maintain
accurate patient records and prepare patients for discharge. Strong
observational skills and ability to quickly assess patient
conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in administering medications and pain relief measures.
Capability to operate and monitor anesthesia and vital signs
equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Oklahoma. BLS Certification required. ACLS Certification
preferred.
