Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • Work day shifts with 3/12 hour schedule • Must have level one Neurology experience • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge instructions • Delegate tasks to support staff as needed • 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License required • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required • ACLS certification from American Heart Association required • Strong verbal and written communication skills needed • Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
