Speech Language Pathologist Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: TalentBurst Inc. Pay: $2,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Summary: Provides clinical patient care (screenings, evaluations and treatments), as it relates to Speech Language Pathology. Documents diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, discharge summaries, recommendations, progress reports, daily treatment records, and home programs. Utilizes opportunities to promote speech pathology and physical medicine via appropriate formal and informal activities. Provides educational training to hospital staff (physicians and ancillary staff) and community as requested. Job Responsibilities: -Provides clinical patient care (screenings, evaluations and treatments) to a wide variety of diagnoses, disorders, and age ranges. -Utilizes time efficiently, meeting or exceeding departmental standards. -Prioritizes workload to assist other staff members in overload or emergency situations. -Updates or develops state-of-the-art evaluation or treatment protocols. -Keeps supervisor informed of departmental equipment needs. -Documents diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, discharge summaries, recommendations, progress reports, daily treatment records, and home programs. -Ensures that appropriate written documentation meets TJC, Medicare, and general professional standards. -Provides appropriate documentation to all requesting agencies and individuals including physicians, insurance companies, and other professionals. -Assists in development of SLP marketing materials with approval of supervisor. -Ensures professional competence and expertise in speech language pathology. -Attends 95% of all scheduled departmental, in-service, and team meetings. -Assisting with PI as directed by supervisor. -Serves as professional role model to subordinates. -Orients, supervises, and evaluates practicum students and graduate interns as requested by supervisor. -Decision Making: The carrying out of non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from supervisor. -Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). -Leads others in same work performed (does not supervise). -Works directly with patients and/or customers. -Works with internal/external customers. -Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. ___________________________________ Required Skills & Experience: -(2) years of related experience. -Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and families. -Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. -Ability to use computers, basic computer knowledge, as needed for data input and reporting. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A ___________________________________ Required Education: -Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Preferred Education: -N/A ___________________________________ Required Certification & Licensure: -Valid Oklahoma State License to practice Speech Language Pathology (SLP).
