Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,302 per week Shift Information: Nights - 16 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Clinical Professional Specialty: Cardiovascular Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT - R) and/or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification within one year of employment in the job Must-Have: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); BLS certified through AHA Description: Provides procedural support to physicians including hemodynamic and electrophysiologic monitoring, sterile technique, and radiologic support. Maintains a well-stocked and clean work environment. Understands general use of radiologic and monitoring equipment. Performs departmental functions within Epic. Communicates with technical coordinator, material coordinator, or CVT III's to maintain equipment and supply. Operates specialized equipment according to protocols. Assists physician in using specialized equipment during procedures. Attends vendor in-services to learn new equipment. Supports new technologies. Performs patient care appropriate to the patient population. Assists in transporting patients to and from the department. Performs appropriate patient care in a sterile environment under the guidance of the physician and RN. Assists in other areas of cardiology as directed by management. Supports unit and hospital goals through performance improvement and educational activities. Attends mandatory in-services and meets department educational standards. Accurately completes variance reports. Modifies behaviors or performance to comply with care standards and meets department requirements. Assists in stocking and departmental maintenance. Performs environmental scrub downs to promote an aseptic environment. Assists in setting procedure rooms up each morning. Performs any other necessary functions as deemed necessary by management. Communicates with material coordinator concerning supply issues and technical coordinator concerning equipment issues and/or management. Uses independent judgment in planning the sequence of operations and making decisions in a complex technical or professional field. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Interacts with internal customers via telephone or face-to-face communication. Interacts with external customers via telephone or face-to-face communication. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and staff. Frequently works with individuals at the Director level or above. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
