Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: RN Telemetry I Specialty: RN Telemetry I Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. The unit cares for all cardiac needs. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry.
