Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel A Nephrology RN provides specialized care to patients with kidney disease, acute or chronic kidney failure, and those undergoing dialysis. Key Responsibilities 1. Assess patient conditions: Evaluate patients' physical and emotional status, laboratory results, and medical history. 2. Develop care plans: Create individualized plans addressing patients' specific needs, including medication management and lifestyle modifications. 3. Administer dialysis treatments: Operate dialysis equipment, monitor patients during treatment, and adjust settings as needed. 4. Manage medications: Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and educate patients on medication regimens. 5. Educate patients and families: Provide teaching on kidney disease management, dialysis, and lifestyle changes. 6.
