The YouVersion Senior Data Product Manager is primarily
responsible for defining the strategy, roadmap, and vision for
YouVersion's data products portfolio. This role collaborates with
cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, prioritize
initiatives, and deliver innovative data-driven solutions that
drive the growth of YouVersion's products and align with the vision
of connecting everyone, everywhere, to God's Word every
day.YouVersion was created by the local church in 2007 and remains

day.The Senior Data Product Manager is responsible for casting
vision, ensuring objectives and sprints are aligned with
organizational initiatives, and leading ministry efforts within
their team to achieve strategic outcomes that further Life.Church's
mission and reach people for Christ.What You'll Do
- Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for
YouVersion's data products portfolio.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including
ideation, design, development, testing, and deployment of data
products.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data product
offerings by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging
technologies, and user feedback.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data products, providing
guidance, support, and training to internal stakeholders and
customers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence
within the data product management team.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, software
development, and UI/UX design teams to ensure successful execution
of product initiatives.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data
quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure
the success and impact of data products, iterating based on
feedback and insights.Skills Needed to Succeed
- Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve
problems with innovation.
- Effective at multi-tasking, time and process management,
follow-up, ensuring teams or team members are doing the same.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster
partnerships.
- Effective at process and organizational management to
coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
- Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and
guiding others.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
