Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Electrician role located in Ponca City, OK. Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and electrical systems to minimize downtime and optimize production performance. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently, following company safety procedures and electrical codes. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment failures and improve system reliability. Document maintenance activities and electrical repairs using the company’s CMMS system. Assist with equipment upgrades, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. Respond to emergency calls for equipment repairs during shift hours as needed. Qualifications: Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or production setting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, VFDs, and control panels. Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call as needed. Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the plant or be willing to relocate within 6 months of employment . Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
