Job Description:
CF Industries, a leader in nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing,
seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering &
Maintenance team. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity and
reliability of our manufacturing equipment and systems. With an
emphasis on safety and sustainability, the Maintenance Engineer
will play a vital role in enhancing our plant operations and
contributing to our goal of deploying world-class manufacturing
practices. This position demands a professional who is adept at
balancing multiple projects, sustaining the highest standards of
safety, and innovating solutions that drive efficient production
processes. Develop and implement routine maintenance scheduling and
strategies for manufacturing equipment. Collaborate with production
teams to perform diagnostics and resolve mechanical issues with
industrial machines. Design and oversee installations, ensuring
compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and develop
corrective action plans. Optimize maintenance processes to improve
reliability and efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement
initiatives and safety meetings to foster a safe working
environment. Strong proficiency in mechanical systems and
troubleshooting. Experience with predictive and preventative
maintenance programs. Ability to read and understand technical
documentation and blueprints. Proficient in using CAD software and
other engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
