Job Description Job Description FABRICATION SHOP SEEKING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates must be self-motivated and committed to maintaining and repairing production and facility equipment to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform routine inspections and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, including replacing worn or damaged parts. Collaborate with production and quality teams to support operational goals and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety procedures and protocols. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and facility improvements as needed. Key Competencies Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of accountability, safety awareness, and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new equipment and maintenance procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods. Work in temperature-variable environments, including high-noise areas, at heights, and in confined spaces. Perform repetitive hand and arm motions and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
