Job Description:
TeamSigma, an avant-garde technology firm specializing in AI and
machine learning, is looking for a Power Distribution & Make-Ready
Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design
and plan electrical distribution systems that maximize the use of
cutting-edge technologies. As a valuable member of our Engineering
& Design department, you will collaborate with a skilled team to
enhance infrastructure and ensure efficient energy distribution
tailored for future scalability and smart grid integration. Design
and develop layout plans for electrical distribution systems using
both conventional and innovative technologies. Coordinate with
utility companies and other stakeholders to ensure the feasibility
and regulatory compliance of designs. Optimize the use of public
utility space and right-of-way to accommodate multiple utility
needs, reducing costs and environmental impact. Prepare, submit,
and manage documentation required for permitting, construction, and
installation of utility poles and other infrastructure. Ensure all
designs comply with industry standards and practices, along with
environmental, state, and federal regulations. Utilize advanced
software for the simulation and analysis of electrical load
scenarios. Work closely with project managers and other engineers
to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Proficient in utility design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D,
PLS-CADD). Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems
and utility standards. Knowledge of GIS applications and data
integration into utility design. Adept in managing and balancing
multiple project timelines. Excellent communication and
coordination skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Certified Distribution Designer (CDD) or equivalent.
