Job Description:

Looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager who can take on both technical and business development responsibilities. This role requires a self-motivated professional who is eager and confident in pursuing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, securing projects, managing project teams, and executing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, client engagement, and market research. Prepare proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new projects. Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Perform engineering work including design, analysis, and technical problem solving. Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and consultants. Maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor project performance, budgets, and deliverables, providing updates to company leadership. Assist in shaping company strategies and operational improvements to support growth. Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management. Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain). Experience in both project management and business development within the civil engineering industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills. Ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a dynamic, small-business environment. Proficiency in engineering and project management software.
