looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive & Small Engine
Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us continue to
deliver top-notch service to our community. The successful
candidate will safely repair and maintain all company owned
vehicles, gas and electric powered utility carts, and outdoor power
equipment while following all company policies and procedures. They
will also assist the Maintenance Department in all aspects of
facilities maintenance throughout the park. Requirements: Essential
Functions (including, but not limited to): • Provide exemplary
guest satisfaction by embracing Gathering Place culture as
directed. • Assist Park leaders and team members in providing a
safe environment for guests and co-workers by following all safety
guidelines, policies, and procedures. • Follow all operating
policies and procedures on a continuous basis to ensure safety,
efficiency, and guest satisfaction. • Troubleshoot and repair
problems with company-owned vehicles, as well as gasoline, diesel,
and electric-powered equipment and utility carts. Equipment
includes, but is not limited to, mowers, trimmers, blowers, power
washers, and tractors. • Perform preventative maintenance
inspections and repairs on all assigned equipment. Daily, weekly,
and monthly. • Maintain accurate documentation on all repairs and
inspections. • Must be able to work independently with little to no
supervision and troubleshoot problems. • Respond to internal
requests in a timely manner. • Ensure all work conforms to federal,
state and local safety laws • Consistently practice safe habits
including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), safe
lifting techniques, and reporting safety concerns. • Working
knowledge and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. •
Maintain a professional appearance that meets Gathering Place
grooming standards. • Must be available to work a flexible schedule
with varying shifts/hours based on our business needs as a 365-day
operation including open, mid, closing shifts, overnights,
weekends, and holidays. • All other duties as assigned. Physical
Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to
100 pounds in team lift. • Must be comfortable with exposure to
noise and vibrations at a variety of noise volume levels. • Must be
able to work indoors / outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
including heat, cold, rain, etc. • Must be able to climb ladders
and work at heights. • Must be able to stand and walk for long
periods of time. • Must have the visual and auditory acuity plus
communication skills needed for park general safety practices. •
Must be able to bend, reach, twist and turn with complete
flexibility and maneuver in and around tight spaces. • Must be
comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor and handling chemicals
with training (grease, oil, etc.) Required Qualifications: • Desire
and ability to enhance The Gathering Place brand and its executive
team in the best interest of the Community, The George Kaiser
Family Foundation, donors, and all Stakeholders. • Must have the
ability to work with and interact positively with guests. • Minimum
of 3-5 years of experience in automotive and small engine
maintenance repair or related field. • Must have automotive and
small engine mechanic operating skills and knowledge. • Must have
basic computer knowledge. • Must have knowledge of hand / power
tools used in the trade. • Must have strong written and verbal
communication skills. • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's
license with a current address and acceptable driving record. • A
high school or equivalency diploma is required. Preferred
Qualifications: • ASE certification. • Cross-training in other
maintenance related fields (carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc.)
Safety-Sensitive: This is a safety-sensitive position. Applicants,
regardless of whether they are a medical marijuana licensee, must
receive a negative result on a 10-panel, pre-placement drug
