System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Senior Financial Accountant. Our client is experiencing some changes and needs someone who will jump in and help figure things out. Great people!

Responsibilities: Involved in month-end and year-end close process making various journal entries
Preparing account reconciliations and conducting account analysis
Review account variances comparing actual to budget and prior year and developing explanations
Maintain accounting for fixed assets and related depreciation
Continuously look for ways to improve processes using automation
Assist with pulling information together for external auditors

Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with preference for some public accounting experience in audit
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA a plus
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Proficient with Excel and comfortable with ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Organized with a strong attention to detail while still working efficiently
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Salary: $75K - $95K
